Emergency Flood Repairs & Reinstatement

Refurbishment of Early Years learning areas at short notice following flooding incident occurring just prior to school holidays commencing:-
- Provision of storage facilities for retained and salvaged school equipment and FFE.
- Removal and disposal of all existing water-damaged fixtures, fittings and finishes throughout.
- Renewal of plaster surfaces around perimeter of all wall areas; hacking off back to substrate and re-plastering to an advised height.
- Replacement of all affected timber skirtings and boxings with new.
- Removal of previously tiled areas where grout affected; replacement with new “wipe-down” wall cladding.
- New floor finishes throughout (mixture of vinyl and carpet tiles) to suit layout requirements following the removal of old water-damaged surfaces, including all necessary substrate preparation, after suitable drying time allowed.
- Re-decoration of all new and existing surfaces throughout.
- Replacement of all affected joinery, including doors & frames, bespoke storage solutions to children’s play area, kitchen and appliances, and storage racking.
- Refurbishment to all WC areas (2 varying height/age-range cubicle ranges plus separate dedicated Doc M toilet); including new cubicle systems, sanitaryware and anti-slip flooring and hygienic cladding.
- Replacement of radiator covers with new “easy-clean” and lockable radiator covers.
- Repairs to damaged M&E systems.
- Installation of bespoke manufactured cloakroom coat hook rails with picture and name plate detail.
- Installation of new display equipment around the classroom areas.
